According to Everyday Health the Flu lasts typically one to two weeks. The most severe symptoms such as fever, chills and muscle aches start in the beginning.




This is usually followed by a headache, sore throat, runny nose and cough.

Fatigue and congestions can last for weeks.

A person infected with the Flu can be contagious at least one day before symptoms occur and last a week into the virus.
